Paper about bias mitigation in machine learning was accepted by MICCAI

The paper entitled Projection-wise Disentangling for Fair and Interpretable Representation Learning: Application to 3D Facial Shape Analysis was accepted by International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI). MICCAI is the most influential academic conference in the field of medical image analysis. In MICCAI 2021, there were over 2550 attendees, and 533 out of 1631 papers were accepted.

This work was presented in MICCAI 2021 with a poster and a presentation video, showing its great potential for epidemiological studies with high-dimensional data.
