Gisselle Carbajal joined us this May to start her PhD. She is a dentist and a specialist in Orthodontics. Additionally, she has a MSc in Dental Public Health.
Her PhD project aims to investigate dental caries trajectories along the life-course from childhood to young adulthood, and the influence of biological, behavioural, psychological, social and environmental factors that hold a long-term impact on oral health outcomes, particularly dental caries.
