We would like to warmly welcome Yindan amongst our little group! When prompted to tell us a little about herself, here’s what she said:
“I began my internship in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery research group in September 2024 while completing my master’s thesis. I am a dentist with an MSc in Stomatology and am currently enrolling in the Population Health Management master program at Leiden University.
My master’s thesis, titled “The Association Between Family Functioning and Dental Caries in 6-Year-Old Children: Insights from the R Generation”, aims to explore the relationship between family environment—particularly family function—and children’s oral health and to examine the influence of various socioeconomic factors on this association.”
